Carnatic Music –Sampath Kumara Charya

Sampath Kumara Charya M A., M.Phil (Music) - a musicologist and a legendary Carnatic vocalist joined SANGEETHA OF THE UK in March 2008. He had his tutelage in classical music from Sangeetha Sahitya Vidwan Late Shri Daruri Rathnama Charyulu . Born into a family of musicians, Sampath Kumaracharya was meticulously groomed by his illustrious brothers D Seshachari and D Rangachari popularly known as The Hyderabad brothers.

Sangeethaopadyaya D Sampath Kumara Charya has always displayed a passion for teaching, spurred by his desire that people should acquire the talents for music which he attained through years of rigorous training. Although many of his admirers have come up with a number of reasons for his musical genius, everybody will agree that Mr Sampath is undoubtedly is a teacher who can provide students with emotional and moral influences for inculcating and imbibing music.

Mr Daruri Sampath Kumaracharya was an All India Radio graded artist who has
performed across the United Kingdom, Europe and many other countries whilst taking vast audiences to rapturous delights through his mellifluous voice. Recently, Shri Sampath has been bestowed with The Annual Cultural Appreciation Award organised by the Telugu Association of London in recognition for his outstanding contribution to classical music.
