Cinematic Dance - Chitra Lakshmi

Unusually exceptional with an attractive deportment, Chitra Lakshmi is one of the leading dancers in UK . She exudes vivacity, warmth and has rare ability to infuse beauty in whatever she creates. Chitra Lakshmi had her Arangetram at the age of eight. She was trained under the guidance of Kalamandalam Usna Banu and Kalalayam Alli Rani. Chitra had her tutelage from renowned classical dancers of South India and her intimate associations with leading artiste gave her the opportunity to experiment new style of dance forms. Although mainly well versed in Bharata Natyam and Mohiniyattam, Chitra Lakshmi had choreographed a number of folk, classical and contemporary cinematic dance items for group and solo presentations. SANGEETHA OF THE UK has great pride in having a teacher of great calibre who runs the cinematic classes from 02:00 pm to 08:00 pm every Sunday at Lanfranc School , Mitcham Road , Croydon.
